    So you are just openly selling links with the express intent of causing those websites to rank in the search engines for competitive terms? That sounds like a direct violation of Google’s terms of service. Please explain how this is legitimate and a good move for my online business?

    Link building is part of any successful SEO strategy if you realize it or not. Links were here before Google and will be around long after them (if they keep penalizing everyone for linking to others). The only violation is that when monetary exchange is involved, it changes the playing field in their eyes (since those with the funds could create an unfair advantage) from buying links en mass.

    To assume that every link was given graciously for every competitor ranking in the top 3 results for your market is nearly absurd. Can you rank without links or minimal links, absolutely. Can you create an authority site and rank with a fraction of the links needed by competitors, absolutely. But, can you also get authoritative links from other websites that augment ranking factor, yes – the choice is ultimately up to you.

    If you are ok with being on page 6, then by all means take the time to add more content, hopefully others will link to you and your websites on page elements are strong enough to push you to page one. Link acquisition is part of SEO, but not SEO, merely the fuel “if you will” to get things moving.

    I am not saying depend on links, but, if you are in a competitive space, chances are you need them to get past others who are also acquiring selective or theme relevant links.

    Usually links are $50 each, so you get an extra 5 links for each package you purchase. However, this offer only last for May…

    That seems like quite alot of money but if it works then that would not e 2 bad. How much will pr 2 to 4 sites boost my rankings?
