Hey Jeffrey,
That was a very cool post.
I am a Photographer in Fort Lauderdale, and I remember just 2 or 3 month ago, I couldn't find my webpage ( www.paulopics.com ) when searching it using google or yahoo. I would go to the page 50... 100... 150 and nothing.
So I decided make some changes on my webpage and also ad a BLOG that I try to write at least one or two posts each week.
Now, if you search a "PHOTOGRAPHER IN FORT LAUDERDALE" my page come on the first page.
Once again...
I loved your post.
Thanks

Jeffrey,

Going old school is a great idea. Especially when you should have the basic subjects on offer. And you've done a bang up job on the subject. Fresh.

I looked around for decent resources and really could have used yours a couple of weeks ago.

I was trying to explain to a dear friend that no, typing his url into google search and coming up rosed did NOT mean his site is number one for his key words.

At the same time, I was trying to convince him to take all the garbage off their site (google is going to kill them) and add a blog. It's a simple solution for the technically challenged.

Note: At times I'm in the 'technically challenged' arena as CSS does its best to defeat me ...

I don't think my friend is going to take my advice as it's his daughter doing the coding. Oh, well. I can only hope their competitors don't look at all their hidden code, etc, and report them to google.

Thanks Cat, finding inspiration and maintaining blog velocity can be tricky sometimes, especially when you want to write about original topics and you know you have to come up with the next big post (after coming down from a great Sphinn or Stumble).

Going old school or looking back can be a great source, particularly when you can share a bit of personal experience without coming off shallow. I am glad you enjoyed the topic.
