Our friends at Themezoom/Network Empire have an exclusive, limited-time offer allowing you to access exclusive tools like the Krakken, The Last Keyword Tool and Domain Web Studio (DWS) at a significant savings off normally published prices.

3 SEO Tools To Crush Your Competitors

Whether you are an agency (who has clients), an affiliate (looking to leverage your assets for maximum ROI) or a small business owner (trying to carve you own slice of a market), these tools represent the pinnacle of market research, SEO implementation and syndication, allowing you to create an unfair advantage over your competition.

There are 3 videos below (each is over 1 hour) and shows you how to unleash the power of DWS (using data from the Krakken and Last Keyword Tool). Consider them your training videos (after you sign up) and you can watch the layers unfold. Keep in mind, these offers will not last long, so take action or pay the full price later (you have been warned).

These are not common ideas or loose theory, they are methods we use to literally dominate search engines for competitive verticals for our clients and ourselves.

We start with the silo framework module and take keyword research and theme the website architecture, from there, we move on the the DNA braid and put together the on page and off page internal / backlink profile and see how steep the competition is, then we move to the third step in the Project Management Module and coordinate the team, structure the on-site content and then push the site live and start promoting it through the syndication blueprint. Trust me, give yourself a few hours, watch the videos and then get access to these tools before they go underground again.

The Silo Framework Module

To get the job done you need the right tools and having advanced SEO tools like DWS, Krakken and The Last Keyword Tool are critical for accessing intel that allow you to (1) assess your market (2) data mine competitors and (3) implement exclusive tactics from a vantage point that few competitors are privileged enough to observe.

Superior intel allows you to work smarter and identify weaknesses, overlooked niche phrases and markets that overlap on the way up the ladder to the more lucrative / crowning market-defining keywords.

But, if you didn’t know what those market defining phrases were, or whether or not those keywords have “actual” dollars attached to their rankings (once you reach the top 3 positions of the traffic band); then you could waste weeks, months or years of time chasing phantom-like silhouettes that merely deliver a fraction of the traffic you had over zealously anticipated.

Wasting time is not an option. Insulate yourself from futility of targeting duds by using metrics like the Krakken’s Total Search Market Value (TSMV). TSMV is an assessment for each market that corresponds to a dollar figure based on organic and PPC ranking value.

This way, once you now where the money is, and whether or not there is commercial intent, you can tactfully implement website silo architecture to scale a plethora of lucrative keywords (like layers of an onion) through using one or multiple websites.

Using multiple properties allows you to liberate your revenue model from being overly dependent on any one property. To accomplish this feat, you need a solid strategy and system based repeatability that targets entire cluster of phrases, (The DNA Braid) vs. a few poultry keywords.

The DNA Braid Module

Would you rather rank for one keyword or rank for hundreds to thousands of keywords, that allow you to reach that “one” keyword faster while you enjoy the fruit of keyword stemming (ranking for stemmed variations) along the way?

Time is the real asset in SEO and the extent of the volume of work you can accomplish depends on the tools you have at your disposal, and the team that you have to implement those tactics; especially when it comes to SEO and competing in saturated markets.

To use an analogy, working with the wrong tools (against a seasoned competitor) is like bringing 3 men to a battle when your adversary has an army. No matter what strategy you implement (with those 3 men) their limited scope and resources will fall short when the numbers game creeps into the equation.

For a website to knock an authority site off the pedestal of the #1 position, it needs both (1) a foundation that is broad enough to support the ascent (by leveraging semantically structured supporting content) and (2) enough vertical milestones (categories and landing pages) to reach the apex for the primary phrase. This means for competitive markets, you may require thousands of pages (to support the mid tail and lucrative / competitive keywords) and dozens to hundreds of links to critical internal pages to reach the aggregate tipping point to reach the apex of a market.

But also keep in mind, that for every primary keyword, there are dozens of mid-tail and long-tail keywords that are equally as lucrative (if you devour the entire market along the way).

The Project Management Module

To create websites and manage the process (using clusters and co-occurrence), you need a scalable system that allows you to (a) identify keyword and markets (b) model data, cost, time management and resources and calculate ROI from click through rates, time to rank, the volume of content and internal links required per keyword or the number of deep links you will need (that was our proprietary algorithm and you can see it work in Video 1 on the silo framework module above) – that is the power of DWS, Krakken and The Last Keyword Tool; that is the collective suite known as Network Empire.

The volume and extent of the work you execute depends on the system and tools you have at your disposal, especially when SEO and competitive saturated markets are the battleground.

Working with advanced SEO tools allows you to plan your roll-out with more depth, a more robust array of theme relevant supporting articles, categories and landing pages and allows you to work smarter and not harder when chipping away at market defining phrases.

I have had the distinct honor of working with some of the most brilliant minds (the team from Themezoom) over the past 5 years and I can assure you that there are only a handful of people who understand and implement SEO on this level.

While this was our best kept secret for years “The Krakken”, now it is time to borrow a phrase from Hades from Clash of the Titans and “Release the Krakken”!

This suite will allow you to walk into a market cold and within 20 minutes have the creamy keywords that float to the top in which to base your existing legacy site (by breathing life into it with a new blog) or start anew and scale the market in a fraction of the time.

If you are struggling to find theme relevant keywords (based on sophisticated information retrieval algorithms such as sparse matrix clustering, co-occurrence, Bayes, PaIR, LSI and semantic connectivity) then the Krakken (which drills into 60-90,000 keywords in under 5 minutes) only brings you back phrases which are (1) theme relevant to the parent cluster (original keyword) and (2) either have organic search value or PPC search value.

When you continue to refine, add synonyms and keep drilling, you end up with the perfect blueprint (like a skeleton) in which to build out your website into a robust authority site or niche specific entity.

This means that if you include these phrases (in their respective website silo architecture) then the entire cluster gets devoured and you rank for more keywords with fewer inbound links (since your own website becomes its own PageRank and link-flow spewing, top 10 ranking juggernaut).

Keep in mind that the Krakken transcends ordinary keyword research and uses the same type of natural data hierarchy information retrieval structures (such as Google, Yahoo and Bing) use to ascertain relevance.

In short, a blueprint from the Krakken is like mirroring the ideal on page SEO elements, synonyms and synonymic sets search engines grade relevance score with as a conditional metric when analyzing authoritative websites and sorting the wheat from the chaff for positioning.

Rarely would I share the exact tools we use to inspect, enter and dominate markets, but in the spirit of the New Year I do have one special offer I have been permitted to pass along (for a very limited time) to all of you who either get our email / blog posts, read whitepapers and updates from our plugin SEO Ultimate or know who we are and what we do.

In this special offer you get the opportunity to (1) unleash the Krakken in your market (2) it’s powerful and quite formidable little brother “The Last Keyword Tool” and (3) the DWS (Domain Web Studio) the most powerful SEO management suite ever conceived for:

a) mapping out markets

b) creating properly themed websites with silo site architecture

c) managing all elements of the campaign from outsourcing content creation, project management, web development and SEO tasks and most importantly

d) having a syndication blueprint that creates a timeline for every keyword, assesses its cost, time to rank, ROI and even lets you know how to cross the tipping-point with every keyword in a blueprint.

Put simply, this bundle is a must! We have paid $12,000 a year just to use the Krakken, in this offer, you will have to click and see for yourself the savings you can receive.

Do yourself a favor; you can win the battle before you even step on the field. I speak from experience on this one, we can do more in less time and completely crush seasoned competitors (such as brands, Wikipedia results, Amazon, Target, Wal-mart and other “strong sites”) using the formula’s developed from building sites (and links) in tandem with a search engines natural data hierarchy – and that is what you will learn from using this suite .

In essence, Network Empire silently slays competitors and uses unstoppable algorithms (that search engines love and reward), and now, for a limited time you can save hundreds by following this link and getting your subscription for a hefty discount.

In closing, for those naysayers, here are links to an exclusive webinar on the DWS 3.5 launch and other videos on the Krakken and The Last Keyword Tool.

This is not a marketing ploy; this is a special offer with bona fide savings for those of you who are serious about dominating your market. This offer will not last and will be pulled in the next 24-48 hours. Act now, or pay full price later. I leave the rest to you…

Can you use this tool with traditional keyword research tools? Absolutely, if you have access to any keyword research tool (Krakken, Market Samurai, Google Keyword Suggestion Tool, The Last Keyword Tool or others that can provide:

1. The keyword

2. The number of competing pages for that keyword and

3. The monthly search volume

Domain Web Studio then aggregates that data using an SEO rules engine and uses DWS’s algorithms to calculate holistic formulas such as (a) the time to rank (b) how many backlinks (c) how many internal links and supporting articles are required (d) conversion rules (e) how and when to syndicate each keyword, and (f) most importantly, how much it will cost on a keyword by keyword basis.

By the way, did I mention DWS has other features such as an ROI calculator, the ability to map out site architecture, map out conversions and profits, and manage content, as well as a thread based project management suite?

There has never been a more sophisticated internet marketing suite like domain web studio. Get in while you can and unleash the power of DWS on your next SEO project.

There is still time to become a member at the $67 price point. With only 350 members allowed, don’t miss out; try DWS 2.5 for $67 per month.

This is not self-aggrandizing puffery, this tool is will save you time and money by mapping out critical calculations and adding structure to your next SEO campaign. Now you can do in hours what used to take days (which means higher ROI for each project).

Enjoy!

When you’re tired of playing childish games like leap-frog in the search results with your competition and are ready to change the subject from recess to biology and literally dissect their SEO game. You’ll need to break out some real SEO tools to analyze your on page and off page SEO efforts.

3 SEO Tools for On Page and Off Page SEO

The 3 SEO tools featured in today’s showcase (2 you know about and 1 you may not) are tools you can use to gauge the strengths and weaknesses of your on page and off page SEO.

Off Page Optimization (Links)

When building links, keep in mind links don’t always work the way you want them to. Metrics such as which keywords rise first, which stay on page one or which keywords recede are all based on factors outside of the off page optimization alone. The effectiveness of a long-term link building campaign requires a solid foundation. This foundation is a result of channeling enough link-flow from internal (supporting) page to the preferred landing page via internal links.

Without enough on page preparation to ensure the page has enough authority in the site to serve as a preferred landing page, then the page is susceptible to vacillations when those links lose their 15 minutes of fame in Google, Yahoo or Bing and slide past page 2 into oblivion.

Keep in mind that without a sufficient collection of internal links (linking relevant pages with relevant anchor text and using themed anchor text), links from other websites can only take a page or ranking so high.

Just like you wouldn’t build castles made of sand, your link building plan needs depth, frequency and stability as well as longevity to (a) reach the objective and (b) provide long-term rankings and value.

There are two reasons to acquire links (1) some are great for SEO and (2) others are ideal for sending qualified traffic. Today, we are referring specifically to links for SEO purposes.

On Page SEO (Site Structure, Internal Links, Relevance)

What determines how a search engine ranks a website?

Anchor text – the text in the link

Link prominence and contextual link proximity

The volume or frequency of anchor text

Link velocity – the rate in which you gain or lose links

IP diversity – links from multiple domains

Domain trust – links don’t just appear and disappear

The grandfather effect – getting stronger as they age

To answer it simply, (D) all of the above apply. However off page metrics only have a limited impact on a website or its rankings.

Real SEO is about on page optimization and unless the on page optimization is structured to provide inherent synergy and support to prioritized ranking objectives then links are only a temporal method for securing a transient search engine position.

In fact, the pages that have the longest staying power in the SERPs (search engine result pages) are not always the pages with the most links but are pages that have the highest ratios of relevance, diversity of links and have the proper balance of velocity and trust.

Enough Already, Show Me The Tools

The three SEO tools we suggest that peel back the layers and reveal on page or off page thresholds are:

Majestic SEO

Xenu Link Sleuth

SEO Engine

While you may have heard of Majestic SEO and Xenu Link Sleuth (you can download Xenu here) but the last tool http://www.seoengine.com (a new entry for most) is like having your own personal search engine which translates thousands of algorithms and search relevance rules based on present-tense information retrieval.

Effectively, The SEO Engine (Previously SEOEng) allows you to have a glimpse of how a search engine interprets and ranks your website, as well as the SEO Engine make suggestions on how to fix it.

These three tools allow you to perform on page or off page audits to (a) determine the effectiveness of site architecture (b) links (c) track the IP range, diversity, impact and strength of inbound links (d) determine if your websites’ on page optimization (market-focus) and penalties are minimized and (e) assess the effectiveness of your website architecture (Xenu Link Sleuth) (f) track the number of links leaving or supporting each page (g) if the URL structure is themed or optimal to ensure your entire website works cohesively as a unit.

In Closing

For those that think that link building is SEO, it is only one layer of the process. The real purpose of building links or earning links in the first place is to create enough on page authority to make your website strong enough to rank itself without them or to get your pages ranking with a mere fraction of the links as a result of domain and page authority.

Just like you wouldn’t keep pouring more and more water in a bucket that has a large hole in it, you shouldn’t build links to pages or a website that is hemorrhaging ranking factor. The three powerful SEO tools above used in tandem can reveal more about a website (yours or your competitor’s website) in minutes than the weeks, months or years it took to build it.

Take a look over Sue Bell’s shoulder (the CEO of Themezoom and co-creator of the Krakken and The Last Keyword Tool) as she shows you how to “peel back” markets in a cinch to reveal traffic bearing lucrative long-tail keyword opportunities from root phrases and which filters to use to “dig in” to find tangential wild card keyword opportunities.

It’s a pleasure to share such great resources like Themezoom and their cutting-edge SEO tools with our community, but just in case you missed the memo, the DWS 3.0 suite they are building now will collectively harness the power of The Krakken, TLKT (the last keyword tool) and a series of market-crushing algorithms designed to get you to the money, faster within the DWS 3.0 framework.

Domain Web Studio 3.0 will feature an Affiliate Module, an SEO Professional Module and a Market Domination Module that is driven by an easy-to-use wizard-based graphic user interface to tactically compile hours of menial tasks into minutes (all done in the background) from inside the suite.

I don’t know about you, but if I can shave 100 hours off a project (2 weeks of time for your SEO projects), just take the value of that hourly rate, multiple that by the value of the money you just saved and put that in your pocket.

For those of you who are tuned-in the SEO Design Solutions community, we were able “through some blatant arm twisting” to secure up to 250 of the 350 spots available for the DWS 3.0 launch.

If you snooze, well, you know the rest – and you will have to pay a higher price than the special offer for the $67 grandfathered price when they open the doors again in June / July of 2011.

For a sneak peak of what’s under the hood, here is a video of me (with a case of insomnia at 3:30 in the morning) running through some advanced SEO tactics (with the use of Krakken and TLKT) to get to the core of a market within minutes using the same tools that will be baked into DWS 3.0.

In my 10+ years of doing SEO, this is the real deal! Trust me, you won’t want to miss this, and if you do, I feel sorry for you if you happen to be in a market that’s in between a DWS member and the #1 position.

Good luck – and make sure to stay tuned for more interesting SEO tips, tactics and techniques at SEO Design Solutions…

One of the great things about Firefox is how extensible it is. Its enormous add-on library includes themes, persona’s, search packs and, most importantly, extensions that add features and tools to the browser.

4 Essential Firefox Addons for SEO

If you do a great deal of work in SEO or are just starting out, this can be a tremendous time saver as you can add many of the most important SEO tools directly to your browser. These tools can also help you get more information as many will run in the background, notifying you of potential problems and opportunities as you surf.

So whether you are new to SEO or a veteran, if you use Firefox, you definitely should be looking at extensions to streamline your workflow. On that note, here’s four essential plugins to help you get started.

1. SeoQuake SEO Extension

SeoQuake’s Firefox extension is a simple, yet powerful, tool that has three different parts. The first, entitled SeoToolbar, displays the requested information in a regular browser toolbar. Seobar is similar but displays the information as an HTML/CSS overlay on the site to help you keep browsing area large. Finally, the plugin can also display information in the SERPs, listing the selected details for each site.

These parameters can include the site’s PageRank, number of pages indexed in Google and the number of inbound links among others.

2. Woorank SEO and Website Analysis

If you want to make it easier to delve deeper into a page’s SEO and stats, Woorank’s extension is a great tool. The extension displays a small “W” in the bottom of the browser that, once clicked on, will direct users to the full Woorank result for that site. That report is an amazing trove of information including estimated traffic, ranking, site compliance and more. All of it leads to a simple SEO score on a scale of 0 to 100.

Though all the extension does is save a few clicks as you can easily just visit Woorank’s site and run the report manually, it makes it easier to get to all of this potentially valuable information.

3. KeywordSpy SEO/PPC Plugin

In addition to a fairly standard set of SEO tools including PageRank and Alexa ranking, KeywordSpy also lets you investigate the keywords and landing URLs used by various PPC advertisers so you can see what they are targeting and keywords you may be able to compete with them on. Very useful for SEO users who also work with PPC advertising.

4. KGen

KGen is a simple SEO extension that lets you see what keywords are strong on any given page, telling you both how many times they are repeated and the relative weight of each keyword. Great for analyzing pages with high rankings to see what they are targeting and how strongly.

But as great as these plugins are, they are only a small percentage of the ones that could have been highlighted here as there are dozens, if not hundreds, of great SEO extensions available for Firefox.

If none of these fit your need, then the best thing to do is search the directory yourself and see what gems you might be able to find. Given how many extensions there are, one will almost certainly meet your needs.

Lior is a consultant to Producteev, an online task management start-up.

For those of us involved in online marketing or keyword research, there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel about the speculation of monthly keyword search volume when it pertains to traffic-bearing synonyms and related search phrases.

What used to take hours to glean, extract, cross-reference and evaluate when it came to competitive keywords, can now be done in a just a few minutes and exported to CSV (comma separated values) for analysis in Excel when compiling your weekly wish list of keywords for new content creation.

Like any worthwhile venture, it requires due diligence to minimize risk. The Google AdWords Keyword Suggestion Tool is a prime example of data coming straight from the horses mouth (considering their search engine accounts for nearly 70% or more of all searches conducted in the US).
But aside from looking at the numbers, what can you do to leverage this tool and make good use from the data it provides.

Here are a 3 SEO tips you can use to unleash the power of keyword research.

1) If you have a (CMS) content management system that allows you to easily implement new categories / sub folders and scale content (add new pages), then by using this tool, it will provide you with some great keywords to use in the folder / category names.

After that, use secondary phrases (from the same research) gleaned from the same list and integrate them tactfully into optimized blog posts, articles or internal links to create relevance for organic search.

Most websites that rank for competitive phrases typically have dozens, hundreds or thousands of pages focused on their most pivotal keywords either throughout the content, the site architecture, the titles and tags or the way the content is internally linked.

SEO is all about layering, so it takes diversification, effort and energy over time (through constant revision) to attain competitive search engine placement, but knowing which keywords are worth the pursuit is the first component to starting your SEO campaign.

2) To determine which keywords your site already has an affinity with SEO Digger a very useful and free SEO Tool. Then you can use the main phrases as the broad search phrases in the Google Keyword research tool to find hidden gems through SEO gap analysis.

3) When your stumped for keywords, try using a broad / general search term in Google, then look at the related searches located in the footer (if you have enabled blended search). After all , Google knows better than you or I which keywords beget other high traffic semantic key phrases when it comes to search engines. So, trust them and realize that related searches are pure relevance and likely phrases to optimize.

So what are you waiting for, the only difference in a site that gets 1000 visitors a month and 1,000,000 visitors a month is how many keywords are driving traffic and exposure to their content. You can apply the same context to your competition as well by reverse engineering their keywords using tip #2 and then running the top ranking phrases they rank for through the monthly search volume tool as well.

Then you will have a clear target with keywords and search volumes validated by (a) their high ranking position (b) the fact they have built enough links to show up in SEO Digger (why would they build links to keyword that do not convert) and (c) the fact that Google is showing you monthly search volume with those phrases.

Here is the follow up post taking it one step further and showing you how to use this SEO tool for even more in depth optimization purposes.

When you’re tired of playing childish games like leap-frog and tidily-winks in the SERPs (search engine result pages) with your competition and are ready to change the subject from recess to biology and literally dissect their SEO game. You’ll need to break out some real SEO tools for a stint of competitive research.

SEO tools play an instrumental role in search and are indispensable for mining data and other pertinent information (such as seasonal trends, buzz-words or keyword combinations) from the pages of industry leaders, who despite being at the top of their game, can still be out-maneuvered with the appropriate optimization strategy.

SEO tools are essential for plotting your ascent through competitive industries and allow you to carve out a niche in the top 10 for an entire series of key phases for your website, blog or business.

Reaching the upper echelon of organic search is no simple task, in fact, it requires a great deal of patience, foresight and strategy. Although we leave the use of these tools up to your imagination (much like Adobe Photoshop, where there is more than one to reach the same objective) the extent of the results all depend on your ability to think-outside-the-box and wield each tool with creativity.

So let’s get started…

There is quite a buzz about this first tool in the SEO industry right now, so, we will cover that one first.

First up – SEO Tool #1: “WordZe Keyword Discovery Tool”

Every good SEO campaign starts with fundamental keyword research. Without it, you could waste months optimizing the wrong terms and miss the boat on what’s hot and what’s not when gauging an industry and the respective keywords that drive it.

A high search volume (traffic-bearing) keyword is a result of supply/demand and conversion, although it may be more difficult to acquire, the rewards yield more than enough profit to justify the means. Whereas a less competitive keyword can provide you with a top 10 listing, but for a term with low search volume that nobody is searching for. So, it’s better to eliminate the exercise in futility by using a keyword research tool that allows you to find the most relevant (up to date) search data to base your keyword discovery.

Just in case you are still stuck in the past and using keyword antiquated research tools like Overture Keyword Discovery Tool or Word Tracker, there’s a new series of professional-grade SEO tools making a debut called WordZe that’s sure to hit the sweet spot for SEO enthusiasts (while mutually raising the bar for keyword research/discovery tools).

Say for example, you want to compete for a specific keyword and you enter it in the “word rank” global competitive keyword analysis tool. The company describes this tool with the following “WordRank is a tool that will inspect the search results for a given keyword, then analyze each domain to assist you in understanding the level of competition you can expect from others that already are leaders for the keyword or industry.”

Pretty straight forward, and to the point. This by far is my favorite, because aside from just showing you who ranks for the term, it provides an accurate snapshot of how many links per month your competitors are building to maintain that term for their position, for “that” keyword – “Priceless SEO data”.

The calculation uses a new fundamental ranking algorithm, that by far is the most evolved I have seen for a commercial tool. I’m sure it’s nothing compared to the awesome SEO Tools that the exclusive members have now at Jim Boykin’s – Internet Marketing Ninjas (this is NOT a plug or paid advertisement), but using WordZe for only $35 per month in conjunction with Compete.com (our next pick) and you can essentially deduce just how difficult it would be to dethrone your competition from their most prized, traffic bearing keywords.

Aside from this tool, they have a keyword density tool that allows you to enter your domain name, it takes a snapshot of all of the keywords from the domain and assesses the terms the site is targeting. In addition to viewing the raw data, it provides useful one, two and three word combinations that you can test in search engine queries to provide valuable insight about where they rank for any combination of related phrases.

Also, the site has a wide array or other tools (that I have yet to explore) that allow you to assess trends, demographic information, keyword demand based on the region, state or global percentage of requests for that keyword and so much more. For the price it is a must-have SEO tool for your analysis toolbox.

Next Up SEO Tool #2 – Compete.com Search & Site Analytics

Aside from having to wait nearly a month to purchase a few credits (as a result of their API reaching it’s daily limit) I was finally able to test drive some of Compete’s nifty SEO tools. My favorite is the site analytics section which has become a natural stop after taking a peek at your competitions back links in Yahoo. Speaking of Yahoo and SEO, on a side note, follow the link to get Joost De Valk’s new SEO Analysis Tool, a FREE plug in for Mozilla Firefox that reveals the anchor text of your competitors back links (when you use the site:www.competitorssite.com search command) – “Priceless and not to mention FREE”.

Not to digress, as a freebie, Compete allows you to assess the monthly traffic a site is getting just as a taste of their SEO tools right from the home page. So, say for example, you want to see how your traffic fares against your favorite competitor, just type their URL or paste it in the top left portion of the homepage’s vs. query box and click return.

You can also, add up to 3 domains to have a face-off to see which site is getting the most traction for their keywords in the SERPs. It breaks down traffic trends to their site using data collected over the past year. Once again, “Priceless information”, when attempting to assess the strength of your next keyword acquisition campaign.

The hint here is “if they are smoking you in the rankings, at least you can turn the microscope on them with a few of the other tools here to determine if a keyword quest is in order to tip to vote in your favor from the search engine spiders. I was researching a few competitors for example who have managed to secure a number of high ranking keywords, yet despite their selection of optimized terms, their traffic was a mere fraction of ours. So, ultimately one needs to decide if targeting competitive terms or focusing on the long-tail of search is the way to drive optimal conversion for their pages.

Compete also has the ability to parse monthly search engine queries using site analytics and reveal which keywords visitors used in order to reach the site in question. Just add this to a great keyword discovery tool like WordZe and you could essentially assess the competitive climate based on the cross-referenced data in a few short hours which could save you months building links for the wrong terms.

SEO Tool #3 – Linkvendor.com

Here is an excellent example of philanthropy in it’s finest from Linkvendor.com, whereby Marcus from SEO Solutions / SEOmetrie (I like the first name, kinda has a ring to it) made these SEO tools in context of his diploma/thesis. Kudos to Marcus and thanks for sharing…

He has essentially ran the gamut on every possible SEO tool that one could desire ranging from analysis and link popularity to domain tools and keyword position checkers. This is one free site that is link-worthy and anyone using them should definitely throw a link back their way.

SEO Tool#4 – SEO Chat’s Page Rank Search Tool

Although the Page Rank Search Tool was probably designed just to see if your pages are passing the little green fairy dust, another way you could use it is by using a link command with one of your competitors domains in the mix.

Just click here and add your favorite competitors domain name using the link:competitorswebsite.com to the query box, sort by page rank and set the number of results to 100 and viola, you can take a peek under the hood of your competitors back links in Google and see which pages are passing the most link juice. At least, as far as a rudimentary inspection that is.

Well, that wraps up this review of 4 Indispensable SEO Tools You Can’t Live Without. Since so many tools were omitted, I feel the need to throw in a few more since we are on a such a roll.

SEO Tactics for SEO Tools – Application

Now that you have some nice tools to play with, as an added bonus, how about a few SEO tactics to go along with them to get things started.

1) Hypothetically speaking, between SEO Digger (as a keyword mining tool that reverse engineers the Google Search Algorithm and extrapolates keyword combinations) and Hittail (a great tool for extracting the keyword gold from the long-tail of search for visitors that have already visited your pages), you could survey your keyword landscape for a future SEO campaign.

2) Or perhaps you may visit a site using SEO Quake (another wicked Firefox Plug-in), to get a summary of their domain age, Who is information as well as their back links and combine that with a summary of the traffic from Compete.com to see just how effective their SEO is.

3) Or what about using SEO Chat, or Joost De Valk’s new Mozilla plug in to conduct a link analysis through some link mining to see which pages are candidates for links from your competition. Chances are, since they linked to someone in your industry, they are open for some type of service/exchange. Just don’t email them with a reciprocal link request, unless you want to ruin any chance of an authority link. Pick up the phone and see what you can work out, you never know.

4) Also, links do not always have to come from the same country to be effective in augmenting your global website profile. Dave Davis from RedFly Marketing has created a another awesome Firefox plug-in Google Global that allows you to view organic and paid Google search results as they appear in almost any location on Earth, talk about link building opportunities. What are you waiting for, go download your copy if you haven’t already.

In closing, SEO tools are only as dapper as the one using them, so remember to think outside the box and experiment with new and exciting methods when optimizing your pages.

I know we have only scratched the surface on this one. So many search engine optimization tools, so little time, so this is one time where I would like to call upon other SEO’s that may wish to share their favorite SEO Tools or techniques and drop a relevant link or two below. Don’t be stingy now, comments are open and if you have a question, let it be heard.

If not, then stay tuned for more SEO tips, tactics and strategies from Seo Design Solutions. I hoped you enjoyed this post and if you like, link it, Digg it, Stumble it,mixx it, Scoop it , Zoom it, or share it how you like.
