SEO Design Solutions is pleased to announce another release / module for the SEO Ultimate All-in-One SEO Plugin. SEO Ultimate 0.8 includes two new features: robots.txt editing and htaccess editing, both of which have been incorporated into a new “File Editor” module.
SEO Ultimate Version 0.8 Now Features a "File Editor" Module
The robots.txt file is a location where you can issue industry-standard instructions to search engine spiders. Once equipped with robots.txt coding know-how, you can use the robots.txt editor to hide duplicate content from search engines, block spiders from following affiliate links, remove proprietary images from search results, and much more.
The htaccess file is a “command center” for Apache-based web hosting setups. Via the htaccess editor, you can issue redirects, rewrite URLs, and more. The File Editor integrates these two powerful features into the WordPress administration to make editing these SEO-related system files more convenient.
